Jack has lost a little weight (which they told us was good...for this stage). He is now 1 lb 15 oz. The nurses have told us he is kind of fussy, especially when he has a wet diaper. He is urinating very well, and the most recent x-ray of his lungs shows improvement. He got visits today from Grandma Christi, Cousin Pam and of course Mom & Dad. He is going to be getting indomethacin to assist in closing his patent ductus arteriosus. He also has a tiny bleed in the fluid near his brain. The doctor says that it should clear up and be absorbed into his body, but should it not it might have to be drained. He is still critical but stable. He is having a good day today.
Also, today was the first day we have really started taking notes on what we see and are being told. We have just been so shocked and exhausted the first couple days to even remember much. Below is a video of him stretching around inside his incubator.
